Children's Workshops
Wilderman's author, Chad Elliott, offers workshops in schools, libraries, art centers, summer camps and more. Below is a list of workshops currently offered.
ALL AGES WILDERMAN’S CONCERT
Time: 30 min - 1 hour
Ages: Any Age
Description:
Chad will perform an interactive show, engaging his audience in the process. He can tailor this to any age group. The concert features fun, family friendly songs from the Wilderman’s collection as well as singer-songwriter material that will appeal to kids and adults. This concert is great for a library, large school group, festival or vendor fair.
LITERACY NIGHT WITH WILDERMAN'S
Time: 15-20 minute mini concerts
Ages: Any Age
Description:
Wilderman’s author Chad Elliott would love to be a part of your school’s literacy night! Chad can perform mini-concerts throughout your event as parents and students move through the evening. Or he can play one larger show for families as a featured presenter. As always, Chad can tailor this show to fit the audience’s age.
ELEMENTARY WILDERMAN’S WORKSHOP
Time: 30 min-1 Hour
Ages: 5-12 years
Description:
Wilderman’s author Chad Elliott will present songs, art and poetry in a well-rounded approach to creativity. This program catches three key elements of learning via song, visual art and writing geared toward elementary age students. Chad’s interactive and engaging style is sure to be a student favorite. He can fold in a message for students such as acceptance, confidence-building or creativity as an emotional outlet. Feel free to let him know a theme or lesson you’d love to be a part of the event.
TEENAGE CREATIVITY WORKSHOP
Time: 45 min-2 Hours (day-long workshops are also available)
Ages: 12-18 years
Description:
This program is for tween/teenage learners. It is a dive into music, art or poetry, depending on the preference of the host. You can let Chad craft a program with a mix of subjects or he can focus on one of these areas: songwriting, artistic living or creative writing. This workshop can be as flexible as needed and Chad will weave in excellent messages for teens such as acceptance, confidence-building or creativity as an emotional outlet into this workshop. Feel free to let him know a theme or lesson you’d love to be a part of the event.
